Taser: Instructors tase the students and teach them how to control situations by getting the person under control and secure. There are two types of Tasers used during the class: cartilage (two small, dart-like electrodes, which stay connected to the main unit by conductive wire) and drive stun (contact with the actual taser).

· Legal and moral uses of chemical weapons.
· Pepper spray canister/Use of force.
· Chemical agent familiarization and its uses.
· First aid for chemical agent exposure.
· Fundamentals of chemical agent use.
Batton: Course teaches carrying, presentation, striking techniques, mechanical functioning, and maintenance of the expandable baton.
